B. Braun's OEM Division offers a variety of in-house molding capabilities including injection molding, insert molding and over molding. Our primary 400,000-square-foot U.S. plant includes a 16,500-square-foot ISO Class 8 molding facility housing some of B. Braun’s 80 injection molding presses, which range from 55-330 tons.

An in-house tool and machine shop maintains production molds and works closely with in-house designers, process engineers and material experts to improve molding efficiency. It provides the flexibility to produce custom core pins and inserts to modify an existing mold to meet your demands and accelerate development.

Sterilization

Validated for the utmost in safety

B. Braun's OEM Division offers in-house EtO sterilization as a part of our single-source solution for customers. Our sterilization facility features eight 130- to 3,600-cubic-foot fully validated chambers – all microprocessor controlled for precise operation. An on-site laboratory verifies sterility of every cycle according to ISO, FDA/QSR and USP requirements.

We also offer expertise in designing products with other sterilization methods in mind.
