B. Braun offers medical device supply chain webinar

20-minute presentation by Jonathan Severino explores strategic approach for selection, segmentation and monitoring of suppliers

BETHLEHEM, Pa. (April 17, 2014) – B. Braun’s OEM Division (www.bbraunoem.com) now offers a webinar, “Strengthen Your Supply Chain,” about applying quality systems approaches to supply chain management in the medical device industry.

Hosted by B. Braun’s Jonathan Severino, Manager, Quality - Purchased Finished Goods, the pre-recorded, 20-minute webinar provides insight into the three primary phases of supply chain management: selection and qualification, supplier segmentation, and monitoring and continuous improvement.

By incorporating quality systems principles into the supply chain management process, Severino indicates companies can find opportunities to improve the quality of finished goods and mitigate risks that can accompany supplier issues. He presents several tools that participants can apply to their own supply chain activities such as supplier quality risk matrices and supplier segmentation models.

Originally delivered as a live webinar through Medical Product Outsourcing magazine, Severino’s presentation – complete with audio – is available at MPO’s website: : http://www.mpo-mag.com/contents/list_webinars/
